Blister in mouth with pus caused by pulpitis infection attacking the facial planes?

My left canine was diagnosed with irreversible pulpitis and hence I went for the root canal treatment. However, the infection soon began to attack my fascial planes. The infection has spread rapidly and is now nearly at the border of my eye. I discovered this painful blister in my mouth approx. 1 inch away from my affected canine that made it diffcult for me to eat. The dentist administered me antibiotics and checked the blister. She said its filled with pus from the infection and I should drain it. She offered to drain it for me with the help of anaesthetics but I was pretty afraid of the pain and so I insisted I'd pop it myself. Any way how minus the pain?Blister in mouth with pus caused by pulpitis infection attacking the facial planes?
I do not think it would be a good idea for you to do anything. If it truly needed to be drained, the dentist would be the one best qualified to take care of it for you.

Taking the antibiotics will get rid of the infection. I hope you are out of pain soon.
