Well i can't talk for a guy, but being a girl... I would think i guy might be turned off by it!! Get Electrolysis done!! It's not very painful!! I've had it done on my legs, its a piece of cake. DON'T shave, it WILL grow in thicker!!

I REALLY don't think it matters, I have one myself, a verrrrry light one that is not considered a mustache, and I still get dates.

What matters that hair on your upper lip is quite normal. Some have more than others but there are many ways to get rid of it. The reason why there are so many ways is because just about every woman uses one of them! Why do you think it's hard to see on other women? ;)





You could try waxing but if you have sensitive skin it could get irritated and you can break out. I don't recommend tweezing! Yowch! Nair for face works really well, just don't leave it on too long or you'll burn your skin. Have aloe vera (pure) gel ready and some ice to quickly calm the skin. If there happens to be leftovers go ahead and pluck them out, THEN use the aloe and ice.





I would not recommend shaving it as there is a great chance of the hair shaft strengthening making the hair grow back thicker.





You could also use small, round tipped scissors to keep the hair trimmed close to the skin-- this is only if you have VERY LIGHT hair (i.e the hair is only noticeable when based on your profile when standing in bright light like the sun).





Who cares whether or not guys mind it. There are things that you will find out quickly about guys that they have to hygienically maintain too!

Its crazy but yes it does matter because you are asking if it does. If you feel uncomfortable about it you might want to try waxing it off and see if that gives you more confidence. I think in general most guys don't care unless there is more hair on your upper lip that theirs. best of luck to you.

Almost everyone has very light thin facial hairs so you are most likely just being paranoid. If you are worried just buy an at home bleaching kit or a waxing kit and that should take care of it.
OMG!! yes it matters. None of guys like a girl with facial hair no matter how pretty. its just plain wrong and nasty. you should shave it off right away! ASAP!!!

You guys are pricks. What the hell does it matter if a pretty girl has a tiny bit of peach fuzz that's barely visible unless you're looking at her from close up? A guy who finds something THAT stupid to be a big deal is definitely not a guy worth keeping!

If you are concerned about the facial hair above your lips here is your solution. Go to Sally's get some microwavable wax. Cost Approx: $3-$4 Be very careful because it does get very hot. There's a stick inside the box apply the wax to your upper lip then get a piece of paper stick it to the wax just in a few seconds not minutes, seconds grab the edge of the paper and pull. This will hurt just for a second and it's over. You will have to continue doing this over time when it comes back. I wax about every 3-6 months. Not bad. But if you shave you will be doing it every day or other day. Then if you kiss someone they are not going to like it when you prick their lips. You don't ever want to shave your facial hair. Don't know your age but if you are under age please discuss with your Mother. If she feels this is a big concern then it would be nice for her to help you with this. Good luck, Lilly!

I think it shouldn't matter.... but in today's socitey I think it would. Wax it, don't shave because it dosen't last as long. Waxing hurts but you only have to do it once every three weeks. The most you wax the less it comes back.
