If so, how often to do you recommend using them and in conjunction with what products? I currently use facial moisturizer, differen, cetaphil and a facial scrub on occasion, but my pores are still really clogged and I have moderate acne. Would using a masque on top of this be too much?Do facial masques really work?
Yesss they are amazing.
Ive been using mine about 2 times a week and my face is so soft.
It tightens your pores so not as much debree gets in to clog them as well.
You should really look into Queen Helene Masque line!
They make some really good ones.
I use her Apricot for dry skin and its made a huge difference.Do facial masques really work?
cleanse, exfoliate, tone and moisturise. I would recommend you use a purifying masque as this will treat the acne and encourage it to clear up quicker, only use a mask about two times a week though as part of your facial routine or it might be too much.
Clay masks will help draw out the toxins in your pores. I prefer making my own french clay masks. All you need is a bit of water and green french clay. Instead of moisturizer I use tea tree oil, the oil moisturizes and clears up skin problems.
I'm a 26 year old woman and I never wear makeup because finally I found something that works for my combination skin.
find a dermatologist's office where they also offer facials,
ask if you can get monthly facials for your acne
your insurance should cover most of this cost
and your facialist will look at your skin and give you masks according to the condition of your skin
Me too! You and I are one the same page. I just used a masque today, and it really helped. I have light acne, but I wash my face 3x a day, due to the oily skin.

I use masks only once a month. I use oil-free acne wash pink grapefruit foaming scrub by neutrogena every day. It clears my breakouts.I think using a mask would be to mutch for you.
