Will facial hair lighteners permanentely lighten my hairs forever?

I bought AVON's Facial Hair Lightening Gel which seems to work but


1) *Will it permanently lighten my hair forever, or will I have to keep buying the gel?* :-(


2) HOW does it lighten hair exactly? Does it go to the roots and change the hair's melanin or something... is it bleach?

it hightlights the hair currently on your face. sorry, it doesn't like, change the dna of your hair so it's really light [: you have to keep buying it when new hair grows in.

Hair falls out, then a new hair comes in to replenish the loss. You will always have to lighten the new hairs or pluck them out. A Women's curse, I suppose.
You will always have new growth so you will have to continue to use it. as far as bleach I don't know the ingredients .
